Tillman's Corner is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Mobile County, Alabama, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 17,398. It is a part of the Mobile metropolitan statistical area.
As of the census of 2010, there were 17,398 people, 6,604 households, and 4,690 families residing in the community. The population density was 1,300 people per square mile (520/km²). There were 7,109 housing units at an average density of 546.8 per square mile (211.6/km²). The racial makeup of the community was 82.2% White, 11.4% Black or African American, 0.6% Native American, 2.1% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 1.6% from other races, and 1.9% from two or more races. 3.8% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 6,604 households out of which 31.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.7% were married couples living together, 16.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.0% were non-families. 24.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 3.09.
